RepliCare® Hydrocolloid Dressing
Hydrocolloid Dressings are substances that convert into a gel when in contact with wound fluid. The moist environment created under the dressing speeds the natural healing process, reduces pain, and protects against bacterial infection. These dressings have been clinically shown to facilitate the removal of dead tissue and debris through the process of autolytic debridement. They also reduce the risk of wound infection by providing an effective barrier to external contamination by microorganisms.
